Pfft, you're ALL wrong! This is where it's at as far as Coldplay is concerned. This song always kinda reminds me of Lazarus by Porcupine Tree... albeit not as good. I keep both songs on a special playlist I keep for crying after hard break-ups, which is made up mostly of sad songs that make me feel worse.

Well, U2 is horrible by definition and Kurt Cobain hated pretty much everything about Nevermind, so those could be two explanations about why the track picks are so shoddy

I actually have heard Nevermind, in a way, since I've been listening to the radio since I was 7 I've heard enough of that album to know that it's not really a priority listen for me. Same with Thriller. I just flat-out don't like Arcade Fire but I suppose I should get around to sitting through one of their albums some day or another.
