Decade charts
At the moment, each member gets to create a single greatest album chart. However, this is soon going to change and the ability to create 'decade' charts will be shortly released. This will allow Level 5 members to create a chart for every decade since the 1950s! There will be a further announcement regarding this very shortly.

Member ranks
The new member rank scheme is now fully enabled. Under the new system, members start off with a chart of 40 entries, which increases in size to 50, and then 100 entries, depending on the number of points that you have got. (Existing members with an out-sized chart for their level are still able to modify their chart with up to 100 entries).

Chart of the day
Each day, a 'chart of the day' is now selected which is showcased on BEA's home page. The chart of the day is selected at random from all charts meeting certain criteria.

Twitter
BestEverAlbums now tweets 'hot' forum topics to our Twitter feed. If you are not a Twitter user, we also have a large selection of RSS feeds which allow you to stay up to date with the latest site activity.

Viewing charts in reverse order
You can now reverse the order of any individual chart or the overall chart, so that the top-ranked album is listed last. You can also save the default sort order as a preference from your profile page. To override your default setting and view a chart in reverse order, click the sort icon in the 'rank' column of each chart (where available).

Member rating graphs
Alongside each member rating (on the various album, band, track and chart pages) is now a graph depicting the distribution of each member's ratings across the rating scale. These graphs clearly indicate the rating behaviour of each member.

Track listings
To make it easier to identify the best tracks on each album, you can now sort the track-listing for each album by the average rating, track name and/or track number. If you sort by average rating, the top-rated tracks on each album will be shown at the top.

Disabled charts
Charts may now be 'disabled' if they are flagged as a duplicate by BEA members. A disabled chart cannot be edited by the chart creator, and it will not contribute towards the overall rankings.

Customise chart
You are now able to customise the overall chart to exclude charts with less than x entries. You can use this setting in conjunction with a large number of other parameters to customise the overall chart to your liking.

Latest data changes
We've added a filter to the latest data changes page so that you can view data updates, data corrections or comments separately.
