average rating problem

hey albummaster, how's it going? it might be because i'm using the net from a not-computer, but the average rating for my chart is 73 when the gollux is the only one who's rated it (with a 100). love you

hi purple, the average is now weighted and is no longer just an arithmetic mean (some people were gaming the system with skewed ratings). The average it is not very meaningful if only a few votes have been cast.

We could maybe not display the average for an individual album/band/chart until at least ten votes have been submitted. We'll wait and see what the feedback is before doing this.

Speaking of rating problems...

On the overall chart, it says that every album on the site is now rated 0/100. lol

good spot - the album ratings weren't propagating through to the individual band pages. If anyone spots anywhere else the ratings aren't showing up, please let us know (hopefully we've now found everywhere)...
