It was really handy last year, so it'll be handy this year, right?

The Stereogum list is really good. It's great to see some appreciation for Glow & Behold, and Sunbather, Settle, m b v and Wakin on a Pretty Daze are great albums to see high up the list.

But then Paste has MCII (so very, very underrated everywhere else, and my personal favourite of the year), Foxygen and also Wakin on a Pretty Daze as well, up high.

Both are actually very good lists, and I could definitely use them for recs- I stopped listening to new albums this year in the summer, so need to do some catching up.

They included Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats. Very nice. But seriously, not a single list has given Sabbath a nod Shame on you

Maybe it's because the album wasn't that good?

On a side note, loved the Uncle Acid album, totally not getting enough recognition.

loud city song has only been included on one of these lists so far (stereogum) and only came in at #36! very frustrating.

i'm also surprised that yeezus has made #1 so many times, i thought it wasn't hip enough for that. go figure.
