It was really handy last year, so it'll be handy this year, right?

Paste's list
http://www.pastemagazine.com/blogs/list...-year.html
Oddest choice for #1.. I really didn't see what was so great about that album
And Rolling Stone, Mojo, Quietus, etc.. are all in that other thread If we could move them over...

The Stereogum list is really good. It's great to see some appreciation for Glow & Behold, and Sunbather, Settle, m b v and Wakin on a Pretty Daze are great albums to see high up the list.
But then Paste has MCII (so very, very underrated everywhere else, and my personal favourite of the year), Foxygen and also Wakin on a Pretty Daze as well, up high.
Both are actually very good lists, and I could definitely use them for recs- I stopped listening to new albums this year in the summer, so need to do some catching up.

They included Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats. Very nice. But seriously, not a single list has given Sabbath a nod _________________

Maybe it's because the album wasn't that good?
On a side note, loved the Uncle Acid album, totally not getting enough recognition. _________________ 2023 Chart

loud city song has only been included on one of these lists so far (stereogum) and only came in at #36! very frustrating.
i'm also surprised that yeezus has made #1 so many times, i thought it wasn't hip enough for that. go figure. _________________ My top songs of the 2010s
