The decade in radio rock. Not sure which radio however. It isn't my cuppa unfortunately, too many great records (hell, too many great genres) missing, and too many poor records in their place. It's just full of things I don't like, and not even particularly interesting things I don't like. But, y'know, you say tomato and all that jazz...

I like it. Any chart with De Stijl top ten and ahead of Elephant is good in my eyes.

Years ago I rated De Stijl highest of all White Stripes albums but somewhere in between I got swayed into rating WBC higher. Elephant is not great, just broader in appeal I guess, due to that... song.

Right. I agree. Except I still am ranking De Stijl number 1. I just feel that 1. It's just slightly greater than WBC and my other favorite, Icky Thump but also 2. De Stijl was the album that really sold me on the WS. I think hearing "Death Letter Blues" for the first time is one of the greatest and most influential musical moments of my life. So, sentimental reasons too I guess.

I gotta say the White Stripes put together what must be one of the greatest and most consistent discogs in rock history with those 6 LPs. Just amazing.

I used to 'ignore this user' lethalnezzle. Your chart has 11 albums in common with my chart. So it seems like my chart is a lot your cuppa.

Eh, it's just, like, my opinion man. This chart has more albums by The Tragically Hip than it does albums by black people, for example. I find that to be a fairly indefensible oversight. But, as I said, you say tomato.
