Haha in all seriousness everyone gets two nominations and all soundtracks (Except those in the top 1000) are allowed.
Edit: Errrrrmmmm I mean the page prior to the previous one.

This might be a stretch, but would anyone be interested in a "best guitarist" tournament? Everyone could nominate one or two guitarists they love for whatever reason and could post a couple examples as to why they love them.
I don't know if this is everyone's cup of tea, it is mine, but that's because I'm a guitarist and a little guitar-obsessed, so I value and pay attention to that kind of stuff probably more than some do. We could also do other instruments (e.g. Drummers, bassists, singers, etc.).
Just a thought. _________________ 2023 Chart

Like it! I know bassists and singers better than guitarists, so this'd actually be a nice journey of discovery for me! Plus I can plug J Mascis as he is the best I've ever heard ... (PS your interview is coming soon just have to copy paste all the stuff) _________________

I've got an idea for a tournament! It won't take long and I will need 1 album from either 16 or 32 people to do it. It will only require one thread to do it so it will take less space and leave more well put together
I must say though, the twist is funny and probably very silly. Still there hasn't been anything like it before.
If there is signficant interests and people want to see it happen I will do the thread and take nominations tonight. Post your favorite albums and when I have 16 or 32 I will explain what is happening.

Perhaps you should elaborate...

So I mean, do we wanna do this? I wouldn't have a problem running it. Would we wanna do it after this 1974 tournament is over? _________________ 2023 Chart

I say just do it. The 1500+ tournament is about to finish and yours doesn't require us to listen to any albums, so I don't think it would be a conflict with the 1974 tourney. Of course, Norman or Puncture should have first dibs (you might try PMing them, I don't know if they check this thread), but there's no harm in posting a thread to take noms. CubaZed is also in the queue, but his requires a lot of listening, so it might be best if he at least wait until the first round of 1974 is over.
That's just my opinion, though, there are no official organizers for this forum. Maybe there should be, though.

Good point. At most, a best guitarist/drummer/whatever tournament would require listening to a couple samples provided by the nominator. I'll make a nominations thread. _________________ 2023 Chart
