I'm on the right on both social and economic complexes
I'm more empathetic with the social aspects, gay marriage is fine, etc.

but your reaction to the phrasing is political in itself. that's the kind of strict ultra-rationalism that every libertarian i know employs (even if i think their conclusions end up being anything but ultra-rational  )
