Sophie's a male DJ who is associated with (but not ON I don't think) PC Music, DIS Magazine, and those kinds of things. The main singles are Bipp / Elle and Lemonade / Hard, but he does remixes of a lot of PC Music stuff, different Hot 100 pop songs, and Soundcloud stuff.

I spent some time listening to a bunch of PC Music tracks (with the help of this list) and it was the fucking time of my life, ahah. And they all had these cool graphics and such going along with the track. Fun times.
Has anybody recently seen - not that I expect you to have seen - Nicki Minaj's latest single/video release. I mean, who allows that sort of stuff to be released?!
The song is the worst I've heard for a long time, and the video (not that I'm complaining), is strikingly not suited to the age group it's intended for. _________________ ''Isn't He A Bit Like You and Me?''
The majority of her fan-base/twitter followers/instagram followers are all pop-loving teenagers.
I'm 23 and I think her new song's dope. Not as good as her last single 'Lookin' Ass', but still pretty great nonetheless. She's never really impressed me over the course of a whole album (always seems to be trying to hard to be both a post-Kim hardcore female rapper and an all-encompassing pop star at the same time, often in uncomfortable ways, though I think with 'Anaconda' she might have just struck the perfect balance), but I'm hyped for the upcoming one. If she can streamline her sound and keep it cohesive, I'm convinced it'll be the best thing she's done. Whether her music videos are suitable for children is entirely beside the point. She doesn't choose who buys her records, she just makes the music and videos she wants to, whatever her reasons may be (you can argue all you want about projected sales vs. artistic integrity, but as long as the music's good I couldn't really give a shit). I don't know why we want or expect our popstars to be role models anyway. The Beatles were one of the first bands to really take full advantage of their teenage audience, and they sang songs about LSD. _________________ 2021 in full effect. Come drop me some recs. "I'm not paid to be a role model, parents should be role models."
I think Charles Barkley had a point when he was going on how pop idols (specifically basketball athletes) shouldn't be pushed up on this idolization soapbox. I personally agree with this sentiment.

I'm sorry Skinny I mean I usually like Minaj's stuff - like genuinely and sort of bother to follow her an her releases. However when I watched the videos accompanied by the song I found it almost cringey. It was like the opening clip to a porno. As I say, I'm not complaining about the video . Eye candy for the masses. It's just how strikingly explicit it all is, I don't think The Beatles ever went to such extremes in this sense.
I just simply despise Anaconda, maybe if I'd heard the song individually as opposed to with the video release I may be typing something different now. _________________ ''Isn't He A Bit Like You and Me?''
