Exactly. In true New York mentality, they blindly went all in immediately. Brook Lopez was a great core player to build around. But now they've just got an old slow, injury-prone team. I don't know which NY team I dislike more right now.

I don't know if anyone else was watching that Bulls Mavs game, but holy hell. I'd wager that's up there with the most exciting games all season, absolutely nutty finishes to regulation and both OTs. I'm just glad we pulled out the win.

I need a quick break before watching Golden State.

Edit: Stressful games give me headaches.

Okay... Bumping this.

Also... The fucking Mavericks. Are you serious? They just got Rondo. Now they have, possibly, a starting five like this:
1. PG - Rajon Rondo
2. SG - Monta Ellis
3. SF - Chandler Parsons
4. PF - Dirk Nowitski
5. C - Tyson Chandler

Seriously? That's a stunning (in theory) team. Rondo is an absolutely devastating floor general and give him scoring threats like Dirk, Parsons and Ellis to pass to is making my mouth water. And rondo is a stellar defender, along with Tyson you have a couple superior inside and outside defenders. Right now and going forward in this season the Mavs are now the most intriguing team for me to watch. GS is obviously still sick as is Memphis. But the Mavs are just right now the most interesting team for my money.

Oh and Rick Carlisle is a stud as well. So I'm pretty close to switching my finals prediction. We shall see.

Yes!!! Total win-win for me! I finally get a team I'm truly excited about since I'm a total Rondo fanboy, AND my Celtics get picks.

Christmas came early this year!!!! And, I just got Direct TV!!! Very Happy

WE GOT FUCKING RONDOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

I'm pretty excited for this. He's going to be awesome with us, absolutely perfect fit. It sucks getting rid of BWright as a fan, but this is obviously the best possible thing that could have happened. We turned a 16 mpg backup center who's really fun to watch into a top 10 PG. Might want to go after Jermaine O'Neal to replace Brandon now though.

Also on the other hand the Warriors finally lost a game and Bogut is out for the next couple weeks, so that sucks. Hope they can win tonight against OKC, it'll be a tense one I imagine.

Such a smart move. They gave up quite a bit, but Rondo is exactly what the Mavs needed to take them over the top. The West just looks ridiculous now with the Mavs, Warriors, Grizz, Thunder, Spurs, Clippers. The playoffs should be extremely fun to watch with all of these teams.

The Nets are likely to deal Deron Williams and Brooke Lopez, which could further load up a contender or 2.

This season has definitely revitalized my interest in the NBA. I was a Warriors fan back in the days of Hardaway, Mullin, Sprewell and Webber, and this team has really given me a team to care about again. God knows New York's teams are unlikeable.
