If anyone is looking for some really poignant dark ambient/drone, I'd highly recommend this album, which left me completely destroyed emotionally afterwards. Just lie there and let it consume you.

Just saw GZA rap about the expansion of the universe and particle physics while his posse looked really confused.

Cannibal Ox is up next.

Copy-pasting this from the "What album are you..." thread, as I love it when something like this (by this I mean for Portishead, not Robbie Williams, as apparently everbody but me knew or remembered the latter) happens, and also because you should all try a de Roubaix compy:

myself wrote:

Les Plus Belles Musiques De Films De Fr...de Roubaix

So chill... of course knowing the movies adds to the faded charm of these soundtracks.

Shocked fuck just realized de Roubaix'd been sampled on Portishead's "Biscuit"! Couldn't find mention of it on the Internet but just struck me as obvious ("Boulevard du Rhum" for de Roubaix). I think they might have taken another cue or two from de Roubaix's music for Le Samouraï as well.

People of taste, surely.

Shocked double fuck! Robbie Williams' "Supreme" is sampled on de Roubaix's "Dernier domibile connu" score!
Friends get on a de Roubaix best-of asap, sample fest.

Had totally forgotten about the Robbie Williams sample tbh

Really starting to get bothered by how poor all the music I listen to sounds. So quiet and indistinct, whether the music is loud stuff or quiet stuff or in-between stuff. Really need to become an audiophile but I can't figure that shit out for the life of me.

Assuming your talking about playing digital files, there's a couple easy things yo can do.

1. Save up some money and invest in a decent pair of headphones. There's great stuff out there for as low as 75 or even 50 bucks. But just know that the more you put into it, the more you get out of it.

2. Check the bitrates of the files you're playing. You'll want either 320kps or a V0 VBR file, which is a little bit harder to identify, but that's what file type you should specify whenever downloading off bandcamp.

You can also ask me any questions, anytime. I've sunk way too much time and money into this shit over the years.

I hope that's legit, also hope the Colbert song is on it and that the last song is actually 12 minutes and doesn't have a hidden track.
