The Bad Seed is nice. Tad melodramatic but shit, if my sweet little kid was killing people I wouldn't know what to do I'd be so scared.

But yeah, AAWIL is top 20 no doubt for me.

I think I got tired and rushed my old list. There's lots of stuff I love that I didn't even include. Speaking of great scenes...

The opening scene alone in the original When a Stranger Calls warrants it a spot. If you haven't seen that scene, find it, totally worth the hype. I read a little about it online without going far enough to spoil it before finding a VHS tape at flea market a long ass time ago (my best guess is 2004). It exceeded my expectations by keeping me on the edge of my seat with butterflies in my stomach for like ten minutes. Wow. Rest of the movie's not to shabby either; got that dark Charles Bronson thriller vibe to it. I gotta rep it even if nobody else will.

And you know what else I think I love enough to put on my list?

Halloween 3: Season of the Witch

Believe it or not, only 10 days left for list submissions Smile

Hoping to post mine after I watch 3 or 4 more films.

I've kinda got back into slashers pretty big lately. I watched Maniac (1980) and The Burning (1981) on YouTube tonight (it's 7:30 AM but I haven't slept so it's still night to me dammit), both for the first time in a long time, and enjoyed them very much.

After my marathon last night I feel like I'm ready to go back to being a full blown horror fanatic. There's this one dude on YouTube that owns like every version of every horror movie ever and the jealousy is filling me up. I haven't went on a movie shopping spree in a while but I think I'm gonna put my Criterion wishlist on hold in lieu of some Shout Factory or Blue Underground releases.

My list is almost done, gonna be a top 25-30 depending on how many more I'm able to get to - I'm not a huge fan of horror to have a longer list.

Been trying to watch The Neon Demon, but my laptop's been acting up lately and not letting me. Hopefully.

I feel like no matter how perfect I think my list is, this one is gonna be the most glorious. With that said I deleted my list again. Shit just got real. I don't know how I never saw Alice, Sweet Alice until now but Jesus.

Very nice. Haven't seen/heard of 31 yet. A few movies, mostly sequels, stick out like a sore thumb amongst all these classics but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Nothing terrible. Everything here is definitely worth watching. Very nicely balanced decade by decade, although the amount of post-1990 films is rather shocking; like I said, most of them are great selections. While I'm too tired to focus and get a exact count, there's 5 or 6 I haven't seen.

It's funny because I always hate on the 80s in general but after my last few days it's looking like my final list is gonna be nearly half 80s.
