Is Modern Warfare 3 worth buying?

I'm just asking, i'm on a budget, so I need to know.

I don't play too many video games, I personally don't enjoy a lot of them, I find them either easy, or frustrating. I only play Halo about once a month, and still kick my friends asses .

I have heard a few things from friends about MW3 though, and for the most pary, all I've picked up were negative responses

I don't really care, nor do I have a real opinion, because I haven't played it...and ever if I had, I wouldn't know whether it was 'good' or not

, but just thought I'd let you know.

Well, it's incredible value for money, as it can keep you entertained for 100+ hours, plus you get to play with friends.

However, there are also some incredible single-player games out soon/recently, such as Batman: Arkham City, Elder Scrolls Skyrim, etc.

So if you want a multiplayer game, it's the best choice there is. But there are better single-player games out.
My opinion is that you should get new multiplayer games over new single-player, as both go down in price eventually, but online communities only last so long (in large numbers).
