I've been listening a lot this year to afrobeat bands like Paul Simon, Vampire Weekend, Talking Heads and The Very Best. I love this sort of music, anybody have any suggestions? Be much appreciated |

| Try African dance music : Fela, Mahmoud Ahmed, Mulatu Astatke, the afrofunk LPs of Hugh Masekela (like The Boy's Doin' It), Orchestra Baobab, for instance. |

| Yeah, definitely do not miss Fela Kuti's Zombie. It may not catch on the first listen but give it another two and you'll love it. Make sure to use decent equipment to hear all the instruments. |

A lot of Peter Gabriel's stuff, specifically Peter Gabriel III. Fine, fine stuff.
Also, trip-hop as a genre tends to use a lot of the stuff, so check out some of that. _________________ Moderate me pls, I've been a bad girl~ mrow~ |
