I haven't listened to the Rubber Soul album for ages. I then go on the page to see a user call it a "wife beater album" Question

He must be referring to the part in Norwegian Wood when the girl comes back and John beats her mercilessly.

If The White Album had also been included, then this might have been more difficult. But out of these three, Revolver is hands down my favorite.

I am experiencing Revolver all over again..It is such a wonderful album and a turning point for the Beatles, although I think that "paperback writer' was the big turning point them. It is my favorite Beatles song.

I'm with you there...Strawberry Fields Forever, I Want You and Paperback Writer are the three songs in their canon that transcend the mundane.

Helter Skelter? Tomorrow Never Knows? Happiness is a Warm Gun? Rain? Eleanor Rigby? Help? Come Together? I Am the Walrus? Everybody's Got Something to Hide Except Me and My Monkey? Maxwell's Silver Hammer? Lady Madonna? Baby You're a Rich Man? Norwegian Wood? In My Life? Yer Blues? She Said She Said? It Won't Be Long? A Day in the Life? Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds? Love You To? Revolution 9? I'm Only Sleeping?

How can you mention Paperback Writer and yet still miss all those songs?
