I know that this idea has just taking action, but I figured out how it's seems pointless. because many, many albums have those kinds of intros, outros, skits etc, and those usually are getting low averages as showing clearly around the site, while the fact that they usually don't affect how people look to an album that much. so the idea (album songs' average) is pointless at many times.

Although, I'd still like to be able to see the average of my ratings, as well as the average ratings of other users (as it is currently) - see the original post.

I think the average is useful for some albums, but less so for others.

Yes, I did read the original post, but you have to realise it's a trade-off of my time against the value that I think the site will get from a new feature. It's simply not possible to develop every feature that everybody asks for, exactly to their liking, and within the time constraint that I am under (even if I was getting paid for it!). I could always come back to this once year charts, tagging and so on have been added. Nothing is ever set in stone, and I see what there is now as a fairly good start.
