I just finished this movie; it's really good. Aside from that, though, it has a really amazing soundtrack, one of the best I've heard. I highly recommend it. It's a really fascinating look into the drug culture of Scotland. Has anyone else seen it?

I was under the impression that you despised this movie?

Despise? No. I don't care much for it.

Maybe I am just confused, here is what you said although maybe you were referring to the soundtrack

I may have overreacted there, it's true. I don't like the film at all, but on second thoughts, "hate" is a bit strong.

Very good film, and a good insight into Edinburgh drug culture in the 80's/90's. Thought the acting was brilliant as well, Robert Carlyle's 'Begbie' was very good, and worryingly realistic.

You should read the book, it's generally considered to be better than the movie.

Book wise - I prefer the 'Maribou (sp?) Stork Nightmares' over 'Trainspotting' any day....

But it is still a good movie and agree that Robbie Carlyle rocks!!!
