half of the album is bad and there's only one good song in the other half ; Slip Inside This House, meaning above average album.
XTRMNTR is so much better !

A fantastic record, a splendid blending of genres with the like of electronica and gospel and other genres,
some may love it, other may not, but I don't think anyone would deny the fact,
that it is a unique record. My favorite track is most definitely "Slip inside this house".

Is Slip Inside This House somehow related to The 13th Floor Elevators?

If I had to name one album by one band that I considered to be the most overrated and derivative piece of crap in the history of rock music it would be this.

I actually met the talentless Bobby Gillespie in a bar in Islington, London, a few years back. He was drunk at the bar and we got into a conversation. He was the most obnoxious twat I've ever had the misfortune to meet (and there have been many).

He really believed in the veracity of his own publicity and the hype surrounding it. He openly admitted to me that he cynically plaigarizes other artists and couldn't give a fuck because all he was interested in was making money out of what he considered to be a gullible public.

He hated the fact, that I saw through him and exposed him for the talentless prick that he is.

Maybe Primal Scream's other albums, but not this one. Even Scaruffi doesn't hate it (7/10 is a really good rating).

I disagree with Scaruffi about the rating he has given this. But his general comments about the band are spot on in my view.

Well I didn't know, so I checked it out, and it seems to be a cover version of the track with the same title,
by 13th Floor Elevators, so my the track that has been my favorite from Primal Scream in many years,
is a cover song. Well there you go, guess I can add another track to the list of my favorite cover songs of all time.
