I reckon a lot of people around here have their music collection on the computer or an mp3 player of some sort and are listening to more through that than actually putting a CD into a player. Most of the software used for that logs what you are listening to which means that you can get a list of the most listened to tracks. I looked at my 'most played' list today, and this is what it looked like:

1. Dry County - Cowboy Up (2010)
2. Lee Brice - Carolina Boys (2010)
3. Bob Seger - The Fire Down Below (1976)
4. Dry County - Waitin' on Hank (2005)
5. Josh Thompson - Beer on the Table (2010)
6. Dean Brody - Old Joe Riley (2009)
7. Lee Brice - Four on the Floor (2010)
8. Steve Holy - Men Buy the Drinks (2006)
9. Eric Church - Ain't Killed Me Yet (2009)
10. Hank Williams Jr - If You Wanna Get to Heaven (1982)

What do you actually listen to?

Before my Itunes went spastic and I had to reboot my system my top 10 was something like this.

Radiohead - Climbing up the Walls
Nirvana - Something in the way
The Kingsmen - Louie Louie
Jefferson Airplane - White Rabbit
The XX - Crystalised
Stone Roses - I Wanna Be Adored
Velvet Underground - Pale Blue Eyes
Flaming Lips - What is the Light?
The Cure - Plainsong
Dimmu Borgir - Mourning Palace

Thats a fairly accurate reccolection of my top 10 most listened to songs

Most played songs? Here's mine, limiting it to one song per album:
1. Precious Things-Tori Amos
2. Karma Police-Radiohead
3. Say It Ain't So-Weezer
4. Rinse-Vanessa Carlton
5. Nobody's Home-Avril Lavigne
6. She's Electric-Oasis
7. Holland, 1945-Neutral Milk Hotel
8. Time-Pink Floyd
9. Here, There, and Everywhere-The Beatles
10. Tunnels-Arcade Fire

Yeah, I probably listen to my favorite albums a bit too much. I need to listen to more singles.

Vampire Weekend-Mansard Roof
The Walkmen-The Rat
BRMC-Ain't No Easy Way
The Raconteurs-Hold Up
Cat Stevens-Tea For The Tillerman

Its hard to say if this is an accurate reflection. Some of these are collected on Genius playlists multiple times. I need to use Smart Playlists for more diversity.

Not implying anything. Just happened to look at my own most played list and was a little surprised with some on the stuff on there.
