We have access to free condoms in vending machines and such in some places but birth control isn't covered by insurance, which is the prospect that's making conservatives vomit with rage currently.

I'm actually on your side on that - I don't believe contraception should be free, because contraception is not a right, and neither is food or water. However, most of the people opposing the bill are just against contraception IN GENERAL - that's what I have a problem with.
