Political cartoons are generally terrible regardless of whose side they are on. The political cartoonist may be the most depressing of all human beings.

I had a phase of making political cartoons for art. They were pretty weird though, I tried to make everything metaphorical - these are just blinding insulting each other, there's nothing challenging there.

Yeah, some of them are agonizingly literal. If a few were a bit more 'outside the box' I think I'd be OK with them, but the ones that turn up on this forum are boring beyond belief. Anyone who actually enjoys these cartoons lives a life bereft of fun.
