These are always fun...Two of the 2000's definitive bands. Since Arcade Fire only has 3 albums, I will group The White Stripe's Self Titled and The Arcade Fire EP as similar albums and not include GBMS and Icky Thump, as they are below the following IMO.

1. Funeral-10 points
2. White Blood Cells-9 points
3. The Suburbs-8 points
4. De Stijl-7 points
5. Elephant-6 points
6. Neon Bible-5 points
7. The White Stripes-4 points
8. Arcade Fire EP-3 points

The White Stripes 26
Arcade Fire 26

An accidental but thoroughly deserved tie.

That's a really tough one, but I'll have to go with the White Stripes. Arcade Fire only had one mind-blowing album (Funeral), but almost every album from Jack and Meg has been extraordinary.

Only grading the albums that I have heard more than a few times...

White Blood Cells - 80
Elephant - 90
Get Behind Me Satan - 75
Icky Thump - 80

Funeral - 90
Neon Bible - 80
The Suburbs - 80

So Arcade Fire edges out The White Stripes 83.3 > 81.25 but it's a close one.

Tough call! two of my favorite 00s bands.

Arcade Fire
Funeral - 95/100
Neon Bible - 100/100
The Suburbs - 60/100

Avg - 85/100

Stripes
The White Stripes - 80/100
De Stijl - 75/100
White Blood Cells - 95/100
Elephant - 85/100
Get Behind Me Satan - 70/100
Icky Thump - 75/100

Avg. 80/100

Yeah, kinda saw it coming. As consistently good as the white stripes were, they made anything as good as Neon Bible, or even Funeral.

I would say Funeral a more consistent album than any White Stripes has put out, but songs like Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground, Little Cream Soda, and Black Math and many others are better than almost anything (except maybe Wake Up and Neighborhoods #1) Arcade Fire has put out. White Stripes are a 00s reincarnation of the Stooges (albeit without the sex), so how could I deny that?

Tie: They're both equally overrated.

but it's not really fair to compare them since the white stripes made twice more albums.

Really, Funeral is the DSOTM of the 2000's, and White Blood Cells is the greatest blues album ever made.
