Read the Bible, Satan never really does anything evil! The MOST EVIL THING HE DOES is tell Jesus when he's fasting in the desert to eat. If anything, that shows compassion! We now know that what Jesus did would have been incredibly damaging to his body and his mind. People often mistake the snake in the garden of Eden as being Satan, but the Bible never even suggests this.
God in the Bible is an authoritarian douchebag who doles out horribly unjust, eternal punishments upon his own children. He's much closer to Gaddafi than Satan is. I mean, shit, look at what he does to poor Job! Also, keep in mind, the Biblical God prides himself in being FEARED. What kind of God is that? He sounds less like a loving, caring God, and more like a horrible, malicious monster!

Yeah, evil did exist first. Hell existed before Lucifer did, and Lucifer was then cast into it. If hell was made to house "evil" then evil existed first. Of course, I also think that the Bible's description of God makes him out to be really quite evil.
I mean, he's omnipresent and transcendent, so he knows all and exists at all times and places simultaneously, and yet he still punishes people for things that, because of his prior knowledge, they are therefore destined to do. For example, he planted the tree of knowledge in the garden of Eden and, because he is transcendent, KNEW FULL WELL that Adam and Eve would eat the fruit. He let their descendants sin, KNOWING FULL WELL that he was just going to kill them all in a flood anyway, and he planned for Judas to betray Jesus, yet punished Judas for fulfilling his plan. I mean, fuck, this sort of stuff sounds like the work of Goldman Sachs' ex-CEO Henry Paulson rather than a benevolent, loving God!
