haha. It isn't very often that a city wins all 4 major sports titles in an 8 year stretch. We've seen 7 titles since '01 and on the verge of an 8th. Let's just say the Boston sports fan is unbelievably spoiled. I'm certainly not taking it for granted though. This can't last forever. Although this Bruins team certainly isn't going anywhere anytime soon. |

Oh I know. I was merely emphasizing Gagner's achievement. It hasn't been done since 1989 ('87 if you discount playoffs()! And it's Gagner! He had 24 points in the past 120(or so) games before! Incredible!

I think I may have posted too soon. Bruins have been looking surprisingly average lately. That's ok, as long as the Pats win tomorrow I won't give two shits about the Bruins til April.
That's been one of the weird things about being a Boston sports fan for the past decade...it gotten harder and harder to watch regular season games (besides football) since all our teams seem to make deep playoff runs so often. |
