New Thundercat song is great. Don't wanna raise my expectations too much, but with Roc Marci, Quelle and Thundercat all dropping in the same month, my top three for the year could be set in concrete before March rolls around.

Hey y'all PSA on an upcoming release, I know most of you aren't in my scene but also know at least two people on here are fans of his, so please do not support Front Porch Step's new album. Guy is a pedophile who got caught harassing a number of underage girls (including a few he acknowledged were underage) and there's rape claims against him as well. He just put out a new single as a surprise and announced a new album. A lot of the DIY scene is pissed and a number of us are discussing how to properly protest him and/or block venues from booking this asshat.

Yeah, gave the new track a listen over breakfast. Drunk truly could be an AOTY contender when it rolls around. All of the tracks released so far have been exceptional, and if there's 19 more to come on the album than I can't see it being anything less than incredible. First album I've actually really looked forward to since maybe Skeleton Tree.

AH. I didn't know the new Dirty Projects album was out so soon. February 24 will definitely be a busy listening day

Cool Your Heart? Yeah, it's pretty great. Super pop-y for them, but it's also really confident sounding. I feel like the group had a vision for this album and really nailed it. I think they've worked a bit with the Knowles sisters in the meanwhile, and I feel a bit of that rubbing off on their new work.
However, Little Bubble is the real gem. That's a great track. There are tonnes of little nuances that it really masters.
Can't believe it's been nearly 5 years since their last album... time flies.
