I've heard a lot of people go nuts about this.
If you haven't heard it, give it a spin.
Wasn't my cup of tea, but I have the musical depth of a 5 year old compared to some people on this site.

In early 2012, I was trying to get back into Christianity, and even though Pharaoh Sanders was writing from an Islamic perspective, he was able to so perfectly capture the divide between the love of (this theoretical) God and all the trials that come our way and go against that.

Unique and groundbreaking, this remains one few truly landmark jazz albums of its day, rightfully so. It's definitely not everyone's cup of tea, but for those it reaches, it's truly special.

I guess I should read more about this album... didn't gather stuff with things like I should have... it was just very free form for me and my small brain got lost.
