I sometimes prefer Moondance to Astral Weeks. Into the Mystic is one of the greatest songs he ever wrote, but more importantly, it has a consistency to it that I enjoy.

tfw your opinion lines up with Seth's

Ah thanks. Smile

Oh and screwed up my sentence. Moondance has a consistency I enjoy. I said that right after talking about the song, so wanted to clarify.

i don't believe anybody can really tell the difference between A440 and A432. i mean, if i played them back to back, you'd notice the difference, but aside from that, people are full of ****.

Tre Cool and Travis Barker are both great drummers who definitely don't deserve the hate they get. This is coming from a drummer myself.
Could someone explain to me why they think this hate is justified? I get that people are deterrent to Pop-punk, but I completely don't get it when people call them "bad drummers".

Tre Cool and Travis Barker are both better than the bands they're in. Barker especially. He makes Blink-182 listenable. He is one of the most creative rock drummers and personally in my top 5 drummers. I'm also a drummer so I look to him for influence a lot. Tre Cool is also awesome and while his beats aren't always the most inspiring, he does put on great fills and solos. I do have a soft spot for both bands, especially Green Day. I love every album they put out between 1994 and 2004.

I have honestly never heard those drummers suck or that they are boring.

Mine:

U2 is insufferable (mostly - I enjoy a couple of their songs)

Elvis Costello's later work is almost as good as his early stuff, albeit in a very different way

Harvest is ruined by the orchestral parts (production wise, it's kind of weird all out).

Arcade Fire is overrated here, but I still enjoy them quite a bit

I can't enjoy Unknown Pleasures.

I like Tool in theory, but a lot of their stuff doesn't do it for me

The Beatles had no completely killer album, except MAYBE Abbey Road.

Lastly, prog rock is largely emotionless to me. Pink Floyd are OK.
