Ah, yes, of course, comparing the Democrats to the party that single-handedly killed seventeen million people through systematic torture and starvation. Hmm... let's see... one party raised taxes and increased insurance for people with pre-existing conditions, the other KILLED SEVENTEEN MILLION FUCKING PEOPLE. You're a real fucking class act, you know that, Naples? _________________ Moderate me pls, I've been a bad girl~ mrow~ |

Pay attention to what the image said and what I said about the image: ObamaCare was bridging the GAP between the Nazi Party and the Democrat Party. Not comparing the Nazi Party to the Democrat Party. The Washington Bridge bridges NY and NJ; how does that compare the two states? _________________ Top 100 Greatest Music Albums by RFNAPLES

It doesn't change how asinine of a comment that is. And the term "bridge" when used in the way YOU used it is a comparative term meaning you said: Obamacare is making the Democrats more like the Nazis (because when you BRIDGE something you CONNECT it), and that comment is not only irresponsible and melodramatic, but it's also really, really, really fucking stupid. _________________ Moderate me pls, I've been a bad girl~ mrow~ |

In legal terms, that's regarded as an "association fallacy" and would void your argument. _________________ Moderate me pls, I've been a bad girl~ mrow~ |

Better review that chapter again.
In notation of first-order logic, association fallacy can be expressed as (∃x ∈ S : φ(x)) → (∀x ∈ S : φ(x)), meaning "if there exists any x in the set S so that a property φ is true for x, then for all x in S the property φ must be true."
I have not stated:
Premise A is a B
Premise A is also a C
Conclusion Therefore, all Bs are Cs _________________ Top 100 Greatest Music Albums by RFNAPLES

An ad hominem fallacy attacks a person because of the similarity between the views of someone making an argument and other proponents of the argument.
This form of the argument is as follows:
A makes a claim of P's status
B also makes a claim of P's status
Therefore, P is guilty by association
Note that I have not made any argument or statement of good or evil; you are making an assumption. _________________ Top 100 Greatest Music Albums by RFNAPLES

Yes, I know how to use Wikipedia, too. Good for you.
And no, you made no direct statement, but you're clearly dancing around it. Why else would you compare Obama to Hitler? The only reason Godwin's Law is ever invoked is to discredit something by comparing it to Nazism, thus suggesting that said behaviour would lead towards a totalitarian government and mass genocide.
i.e.: Hitler did it, therefore it's bad and Obama is like Hitler for doing it and also bad. _________________ Moderate me pls, I've been a bad girl~ mrow~ |

Please don't tell me what I said. I asked you if you were looking for a comparison between Obama and Hitler and suggested one for you (they both exhibited socialist tendencies). The original image makes no comparison of the Nazi Party to the Democrat Party but suggests that ObamaCare bridges the GAP. In other words, it recognizes that the two are not the same.
