| This is Caetano Veloso's solo debut from 1968 - great album. "Alegria Alegria" was released during one of the great music festivals held by the Record TV Station in Brazil - in those days, those festivals stopped the country. On his next album, also titled "Caetano Veloso" from 1969, he only recorded the vocals and the guitar, the whole instrumentation and producing was done by Rogério Duprat because by then Caetano was being sent away from the country by the Brazilian dictatorship. |
