I thought it's about time I posted something on this forum seeing as i've had an account for almost a week now. I'm sure everyone at some point has borrowed a CD from a friend or listened to an album online and really enjoyed it but never got around to buying it. So I was wondering if anyone has any favorite albums they don't currently have. Mine's would be:

John Martyn - One World (Solid Air always gets the attention while this one is ignored. 12th on my chart Very Happy )
Tom Waits - Rain Dogs
Neil Young- After The Goldrush

.

I used 2 have an album called Pure Cult, by the band The Cult.

It was one of my favorite albums and I loved playing it for people for it often blew them away.

But now I can't find it and I don't think the album is sold anywhere.

'Own' is such an ambiguous word... Very Happy

I have pretty much all my favourite albums in my possession (with the exception of 'Mask' which seems to have vanished about the same time my neice left us Think ). But there are a lot in my possession that I don't 'own'.

I just have them on long term loan without the explicit consent (or knowledge) of the 'owner'.

Very Happy

That's stupid, I wouldn't know if I liked an album unless I listened to it. Oh wait, you're still buying music Laughing

Is it taboo to admit illegally downloading music here? Just that if I had to pay for all the music I download I'd be broke in days...

So the answer is none or I'd download it, hope this doesn't make me a bad person.
