I agree - the NYC line up is awesome with some really good bands.
Pairings like this means that a load of far less worthy cities (like my own nominated Leeds, the 'one trick Pony' Bristol, or the one Plastic Minogue is batting for) will go through instead of the far superior Manchester!

So the second round is done!
Winners are: NEW YORK, TORONTO, BRISTOL, LEEDS, LONDON, SALFORD, GLASGOW, LIVERPOOL
6 UK Teams
1 Canada Team
1 USA Team
The last round saw the end of teams from Australia, Europe and the Caribbean. Obviously the hub of music is in the Northern Hemisphere and most likely in the UK. But who will it be?
MANAGERS
A twist in the game.
Only 3 bands are allowed in this round. Choose wisely.
One wrong exclusion could mean defeat!
QUARTER FINALS (randomised again)
NEW YORK v LONDON
SALFORD v LEEDS
LIVERPOOL v BRISTOL
GLASGOW v TORONTO _________________ Bandcamp ~ Facebook ~ Tumblr ~ Twitter

Want to start these rounds soon so if managers don't get their selections in, within the next several hours, I will go with the first three selections per team. _________________ Bandcamp ~ Facebook ~ Tumblr ~ Twitter |

| Random is random, but I do agree that some great cities have gotten knocked out and some pretty sad ones remain. This one has NYC vs. London, in my opinion the two greatest remaining cities. |

Some awesome cities and bands have been knocked out. Last tourney I did, it was a fixed matchup structure (eg. tennis knockout format). I tried this because some people thought the fixed structure was not working. Personally, next one I do, random to pick initial matchups but fixed from then on.
Thanks for the managers for getting to me in a short amount of time. Just waiting on jackwc and sammyo_96 to get back to me. _________________ Bandcamp ~ Facebook ~ Tumblr ~ Twitter |
