It is no different to your beloved 'Declaration of Independence' - available for you to look at and read should you choose to do so, but not available for you to scribble all over and deface. That is generally the role of an archive - things are preserved for the general populace to view and read but not to add to.
I suggest you look up what an 'archive' is and try to understand how it works before you continue raving about 'censorship' and how archiving is some kind of BEA conspiracy akin to the Nazi death camps. |
I suggest you look up the U.S. Constitution. The Twenty-seventh Amendment to the United States Constitution was ratified in 1992. |

I understand what Naples is trying to prove, but it's like applying the laws of physics to a children's program. It can be done, but there is no point. Seriously, this shouldn't even be an issue. |
You can talk about the Declaration of Independence or even make amendments to it, just not on the original document itself... analogy stands.
I agree though that this is an utter non-issue. All systems have an archive (and if they don't then they should) because it is standard practice and allows for the better management of information. Trying to turn it into some kind of censorship conspiracy is ridiculous to the point of laughable! _________________ It's better to be hated for what you are, than to be loved for what you're not

I know the whole idea that an internet forum can be compared to the Nazi holocaust.... I mean how mental must you be to think that!!!

Using an analogy of wartime holocaust on a thread about an internet forum archive.... Yup that seems really measured and rational to me!!!
It's an archive... a simple archive... nothing more... nothing less... JEEZ! _________________ It's better to be hated for what you are, than to be loved for what you're not
