Slightly drags and would be higher with 2-3 less tracks. Cohesive but I've never been blown away by first listen or relistens of it.

My least favourite Arcade Fire album, but it's still good.
Funeral and Neon Bible are better by far.
Best tracks: "Ready to Start", "Sprawl II (Mountains Beyond Mountains)", "Half Light I", "The Suburbs". |

Yeah.
It's weird that this was almost released 2 years ago.  Feels so new.
And I also just noticed that it's at #45  As much as I love it, I'm amazed it's that high.

| I personally enjoyed Funeral, although not on the first listen. It has a nice flow.. sort of a "ride" feel to the whole thing (although I'm not sure if "ride" is the right word I'm looking for). |

| Arcade Fire doesn't show up in my chart, but I like this album and Funeral a lot. On this guy, tracks 1-6 are gold, then there's a lull that they don't completely recover from for the rest of the album. Arcade Fire might not have put out the best music of the past decade, but they're damn consistent and still leagues ahead of most acts out there, musically and lyrically. |

it's different from the first 2, more pop, As good as Funeral but much much ..... much better than Neon Bible. Simply the best album of the decade so far. |
