disagree. I think the issue is if people are fans of the music they'll find more meaning in the given cover. There are shitty albums with good artwork - but people will always vote for the cover they feel some sort of connection to.
neither of these would make my top 5 album covers but i voted for VU & N

I'm a big fan of VU & N, but I don't think it has an amazing cover. It's just a banana!
Then again, I have an obsession with The White Album's cover, so.....
Anyway, Unknown by a country mile again.
