I actually had a disco phase. It was all Boney M and Chic (Ahhhhhhhhhh Freak Out !).
Please, just don't remind anyone. | you shouldn't be ashamed of Chic. Their musicianship was amazing. _________________ To each his reach but if I don't cop it ain't mine to have - George Clinton

I feel sorry for you.
As for me, Ok, here goes. This is pretty embarrassing:
Huey Lewis and the News
I had Sports on Vinyl! : I was 12 at the time. |
I know I wasted months on that band good thing I found much better music!

Either you missed the point of my post or you totally ignored it. What I meant was I feel sorry for you not because you once loved the Beatles, but because you no longer appreciate them. I feel sorry for you because although exploring many bands, artists, genres like you, I still like to come home to the place where my love of music began, and like you that was with the Beatles. As I said, I feel sorry for you. It's sort of like saying you no longer appreciate meat and potatoes because you discovered sushi--makes no sense to me.
Also, if you're calling yourself Alex Chilton, why aren't there any Big Star albums on your list? Too Beatlesque? |

I still enjoy a lot of The Beatles music and as for my name it's a reference to Big Star and The Replacements.
(Both will be represented if my chart ever extends to 50) |
