More embarrassing than solo Phil Collins.

I actually had a disco phase. It was all Boney M and Chic (Ahhhhhhhhhh Freak Out !).

Please, just don't remind anyone. Embarassed
you shouldn't be ashamed of Chic. Their musicianship was amazing.

Either you missed the point of my post or you totally ignored it. What I meant was I feel sorry for you not because you once loved the Beatles, but because you no longer appreciate them. I feel sorry for you because although exploring many bands, artists, genres like you, I still like to come home to the place where my love of music began, and like you that was with the Beatles. As I said, I feel sorry for you. It's sort of like saying you no longer appreciate meat and potatoes because you discovered sushi--makes no sense to me.

Also, if you're calling yourself Alex Chilton, why aren't there any Big Star albums on your list? Too Beatlesque? Laughing

I still enjoy a lot of The Beatles music and as for my name it's a reference to Big Star and The Replacements.

(Both will be represented if my chart ever extends to 50)
