similar chart rankings

seeing as the member base is now quite large, i think a really useful addition to the site would be some kind of facility to see which other user charts yours is similar to (i.e shares the most albums with, or the most artists etc).

that would hopefully make finding enjoyable new music a lot easier and add an extra dimension to the functionality of the site.

Sounds a very good idea telefunker. There was a related suggestion the other week from RFNAPLES about doing this type of thing - http://www.besteveralbums.com/phpBB2/vi...;start=195

We'll combine this idea with the other one and come up wth something along these lines.

We are just working on implementing this feature at the moment. We will show you within each chart, any albums which are the same as yours. We will also flag any bands which are the same as yours and also any albums that are not in your chart, but are performend by artists which are in your chart e.g. if you have Funeral in your chart and the other chart features Neon Bible, Neon Bible would be flagged for you to take a look at.

EDIT: this has now been implemented.
