Kid A is an amazing album. Whenever I listen to it and close my eyes, I feel like I am drifting into the dream land like it was intended to give. from the piano riffs of Everything In It's Right Place, to that harmonic harp of Motion Picture Soundtrack, you are in a different world for sure. The world of Kid A. Of course this world you dream. When you wake up to Motion Picture Soundtrack, it's really like you are waking up to life and it's all at your disposal. Like you can do anything you put your mind to because the opportunity is a dream away :)
Fav track is How to Disappear Completely
Kid A is amazing in it's own unique way :D
Yes,this is my favourite album of all time, Why?
Because it's so ffffucking beautiful!
This one is in my top 3
I couldn't have ever imagined before that music could be this powerful. This record has changed the course of my life. I believe wholeheartedly that this is, so far, the greatest album of all time.
In my opinion, this is not an album to be listened to very frequently. My advice would be to wait for a time when your mind feels very open and still. Then turn the lights off, put some headphones on, and disappear.
It took me a long time to warm up to this album but now I am willing to admit it is fantastic. Optimistic has become one of my all time favorite songs. I also enjoy The National Anthem and Everything in its Right Place.
imo greatest album of all time but i can understand if someone thinks differently.
First Radiohead album I listened to, because of that I wasn't wholly surprised by Radiohead's change of sound. Outstanding and agonisingly jarring listen, but it's still tolerable.
It took a few listens for me to fully appreciate this album as the emotional, beautiful masterpiece that it is.
One of the best of the decade, but not quite surpassing OK Computer.
