Initially I thought this was disappointing but listening again after a few years, it is a really good album but doesn't quite reach the heights of their earlier stuff
Certainly not KOL’s best by a long shot but some decent tracks. Don’t play it very often which probably says a lot

I actually like this album. I feel that If they had released this right after OBTN, it would have been received much better.
Over and waste a moment are pretty awesome.
Definitely their best effort since Only Before The Night - IMO.

Their best album since "Because Of The Times" by far!
I gave this album another go a few months after the first listen, and I'm still trying hard not to hate it as much as I do because I like KOL's early stuff so much. However, this is just as boring, tepid and repetitive as it gets, almost everything the band wasn't before the commercial breakthrough of OBTN. I actually thought Mechanical Bull was a slight return to form but on WALLS at least half of the tracklist just simply puts me to sleep. Over, Conversation Piece, Muchacho and the title track are so weak and meaningless and if I'm being honest beyond the singles and maybe Find Me, it sounds like the band has given up completely.

Not a great record but not as bad as some in the music press have labelled it. The first 3 tracks stand out and tracks 4&5 are good, it then dips a bit (Tracks 6-8) but the last 2 tracks bring the album to a good finish.

It's not a great record. The songs are weak, the band persists but they lost the punch of the initial works. Sadly!
