Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album has a Bayesian average rating of 73.6/100, a mean average of 72.3/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 73.6/100. The standard deviation for this album is 14.3.

Even though it's just an album of covers, damn did they do the blues right again, even well into their 70s. Probably the Stones best album in 30 years.
Best song(s): Just Your Fool; Blue and Lonesome; All of Your Love; Ride 'Em on Down; I Can't Quit You Baby
A essência do Rolling Stones purinho!! Pra quem gosta de blues e blues rock de quem realmente amam o blues e o blues rock!
not for me,it does sound all samey.no stand out song and most likely never play this album again.
One of the things I dislike about classic Chicaago Blues is the muddiness of the sound recording due to the age of the records. This album fixes that problem. Everything sounds new and crisp, yet still retains that dirty blues feel. Also, Keith Richards + Eric Clapton is a match made in heaven.
YES!
Yes there back baby back to there roots and sounding just as good as they did in the early sixties playing the blues I hope this isn't full circle as I could listen to some more of this.
An enjoyable record with a nice raw sound with Mick especially blowing some wonderful harp. Being the blues it can get to being a bit samey but it's not too bad at all. I wonder if this is just a stop gap or the final Stones album. If it is it's a good way to end it by bringing everything full circle. Yes, a good album, nothing spectacular, but decent enough.
