Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album is rated in the top 12% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 74.8/100, a mean average of 75.0/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 75.0/100. The standard deviation for this album is 12.3.

Naked Eye stands out on this one..... I don't understand why it didn't make it onto a 'proper' album.
An aptly titled album. There's definitely filler here, but you have to wonder why a few of these songs didn't make it onto previous albums.
Even their "odd" left overs are good!
Not sure what 5thBeatle is listening to. Pure and Easy is one of The Who's greatest songs IMO. Faith in Something Bigger is a beautiful song with Beatles-esque harmonies. Long Live Rock and Naked Eye are Who classics. Glow Girl is a cool song. Lots of variety on this album--from The Who's second song, I'm The Face to the radio commercial anti - smoking Little Billy to a great Entwistle song, Postcard--this album is aptly named and truly underrated as all of these songs are originals. Great album cover also!
The original release had half the number of tracks and trimmed off a lot of the dross. Only the Who could turn out a collection of album rejects with classics like "Naked Eye," "Pure and Easy," and "Too Much of Anything." "Postcard" is a fun song from Entwistle.
Not much stands out on this one.
