IrishMusichead 11 hours agoMuch more thematic then I had expected. Almost a calming and sullen listen, and that feeling is appeasing. My only criticism is 21st Century Schizoid Man - don't be mad it's a bloody brilliant song - it just feels a little out of place when compared with the rest of the album.
ModVery good tracks and merging of tracks is very unique.

Pete Townshend called it the "most important album since SgtPepper's...". Prog-rock starts here, doesn't it? Though "A salty Dog" by Procol Harum, released a few months before, came damn close.
"In the court..." is just... perfect to me.
Truly ahead of its time, extremely influential.
An absolutely essential progressive rock album. Beautifully poetic with larger-than-life melodies, especially in the closing track.
"I Talk To The Wind" is probably my favorite in here, and a very, very underrated track. Really great album overall-emotional, poetic, boldly experimental and also beautiful.
