Like most Linkin Park albums, I really struggle to sit through and listen to the whole thing (hence why I haven't given it a rating); but I will say Waiting For The End is pretty great.
lightmyway 04/30/2012 03:28An electronic-influenced album and another big change of pace. It's a good album, honestly. If they make another in this style I think they could really iron out the kinks and make something great.
an_outlawDoesn't reach the classic or world changing event it was aiming for. A step down from the former one but hey this was £3 in the sale with a DVD, I might find someone who likes it. Can write good songs when they are not distracted. 'When They Come For Me' is adrenaline from the energy bottle to top of the mountain and 'Burning In The Skies' could possibly show influence from 'The Joshua Tree'. Funny I should bring U2 into it, that is the direction the band is going with involvement in world affairs. No sign on the horizon whether they will get a 'Zooropa' or a 'All That You Can't Leave Behind' out of it.
teganxsara96 05/15/2011 04:34Just terrible. An awful bunch of 'electronic' segues with smooth, boy-band vocals and a really terrible rap from Mike Shinoda. Very few good points to this album, and for the record, Linkin Park have always sucked.
alistamina 01/01/2011 08:06this is not a complete disaster. It surely has taken lots of efforts to show the band's growth. But, unluckily it fails to prove it. Lyrics sometimes become naive and there should be far more innovative songs. The best track is 'The Catalyst' IMO.
