Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. They turned the clock back a generation with this fantastic album - almost back to their best!

Good AOR ready metal. If you like, LAFS, you'll probably dig this. Not really what I'm looking for in a metal release, but they succeed in what they're trying to do.

Stylish and strong album
Despite its high rating in my charts, this album is unlikely to get many more listens and will eventually fade away. Scorpions tend to produce quality albums. Just when compared with the late 70s and 80s material, it just isn't as memorable.
Proof that rock lives on, even if the writers are past 60. Klaus kept his voice, and the band kept their talent.
SMILE's comment is true. A must have, and any Scorps fan who doesn't like this album is too nostalgic.
Best song: Lorelei, SLY, and The Best Is Yet to Come.

This band still has it after 40 years. A solid showing. Strong writing.. A must for any Scorpions' fan.
