Really good album, plenty of layers, think after a few more listens this could become one of my favourites.

sulmagnificent 04/17/2013 01:17The songwriting is top-notch, it's not as experimental as everyone suggests, but it sure as hell not Appetite for Destruction either. There isn't a bad song here and for those accusing it of being boring need to listen more carefully, there is a lot to enjoy from this album it is just very discreet.
It has its moments, but rather underwhelming overall. I guess this whole alt-country thing isn't really my scene.
an_outlawSweet and laid back. Little bits and pieces here and there. Doesn't shine bright but keeps me going right until the end. Altogether a great piece of music.

SilverWalrus 02/05/2013 05:15This album is so strangely beautiful and warm. Ashes of American Flags is quickly becoming one of my favorite songs of the 2000's, and the rest of the album is also amazing. I expect that I'll like this one more and more as I listen to it.
Some albums are considered great and after all they're only overrated. Is YHF one of those albums ? No. Just no. Wilco managed to pull off the perfect balance of lyrical beauty, experimental touch and what i like to call, musical poetry. War On War, Poor Places are both great tracks, but my choice for the single greatest moment in this record has to be Jesus Etc.
Needs a lot of listens... Well... Ranks 50 in my list... Which is still ok...
