Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album has a Bayesian average rating of 65.8/100, a mean average of 64.1/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 64.9/100. The standard deviation for this album is 13.2.

The swan song album of the ATL duo, was a huge let down after the previous two OutKast albums, and a final nail in the coffin of their partnership. Both went their separate ways after this was released.
Bad for Outkast, mediocre by normal standards.
Like 5 fantastic ideas and the rest is something I'll not purposely try and listen to again.
This had its moments but overall this doesn't come close to anything else they have done. Still it's a pleasant listen but one's better skipping it and going to their other stuff.
...to add to my previous comment: Call The Law features a killer vocal by Janelle Monae.
An okay experiment with some decent highlights, but it's just way too long.
I know this experiment somewhat killed their career. They were flying high after Stankonia and Speakerboxx/Love Below. They had a tough act to follow, and could probably only go down. However, this album wasn't as bad as the movie, and wasn't as bad as many say. Loads of quality tracks, and a great fusion of 30s era big band and barroom jazz with modern hip-hop. Don't stop with just the big albums. OutKast has plenty of quality.
