Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album is rated in the top 11% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 74.9/100, a mean average of 74.5/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 75.1/100. The standard deviation for this album is 11.8.

One good song. Others did not made any impression.
Released in Jan '70, The strength of side 1 of American Woman carries this to flagship status.
Despite a weaker latter half, this should still be considered the peak Guess Who album - and was the last to feature Randy Bachman, who would go on to form Brave Belt, and of course, BTO.
It was off to a good start then dragged at the end. Rating (79.00)
Best known for the three hit singles, but it's a solid blues/rock record from beginning to end. No filler at all.
Best classic Canadian
Those three hits are probably three of the 100 best radio songs ever.
They were invited to the White House, under the guise that they would not play one particular song. They played 'American Woman' anyway, and were kicked out. How badass is that?
Iconic Canadian artist's signature album.
