wow... so many haters...

I love this album... it has the melodic beauty of By The Way, without being boring and has the hard rock and funk of Californication and BSSM... at times I think this is their best album with all parts of the band at their height. I do agree there is a bit of filler, but at the same time the filler at least has this unique sound on the bass or something that makes it stand out. The filler isn't crap, just not on par with AMAZING, as the rest is.Make you feel better and storm in a teacup for example aren't that great, but they aren't bad either. I still rate them 80.

I'm probably in the minority when I say this, but I think this is their best album. It may not have some of the big and timeless hits as their other albums did and Dani California was played WAY too much on the radio, but I cannot find a bad song on this album. That's amazing for a 28 song album. There are only a few that I would say are average, but the rest are above average or real good.

My favorites are Snow(Hey Oh), Charlie, Desecration Smile, Tell Me Baby, and Readymade.

There's not a bad song on the album, Jupiter itself would be their best album, can't understand people not liking this!

I found it extremely repetitive. It has some good songs, but that doesn't stop it from being a slight disappointment to me. I believe it was a mistake to make it a double album. John Frusciante saved this album just a bit, though.

Can't help but think of how great it would have been as a single disc minus some of the filler.

RHCP aimed high and almost made it. This was supposed to be their masterpiece. Not quite, but still a solid piece of work. Great tracks throughout. Their last standout album.
