Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album has a Bayesian average rating of 70.9/100, a mean average of 70.1/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 70.7/100. The standard deviation for this album is 14.0.

Solid electronic pop album, first half is great but the second half is very forgettable. Highlights are Young Blood, No Way and Punching in a Dream
My goto when someone asks for an album they've never heard before.
Good/Great album, long for what it is.
Thought it would make me cool liking this album, but it's gay shit
Check out this album, then watch their live video "One Temporary Escape".
Massive surprise! Better than expected! Like a room full of human sized marbles bouncing into a colorful and shiny haze, this a place where I will spend my days. Keyboards are prominent. 'Punching In A Dream' is fantastic piece of songwriting. Yes, certainly getting the dream with GBH. It's a go getter album. Never steady on it's feet yet proud of where it is. Vocals have a Pink vibe and the attitude is there. 'Girls Like You' is a sneer and a half while 'Frayed' is bolt against the trend. The big blue in the wide blue. Take this album, listen, get it. I'm done.
I dont know whats taking everyone so long to recognize one of the best bands to come out within the last 5 years but this album is one of the best debuts from the new century. Listen to Punching in a Dream, Frayed, The Sun, and Girls Like You and try to not have a moment of joy I dare you.
