Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album is rated in the top 7% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 75.6/100, a mean average of 74.4/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 75.7/100. The standard deviation for this album is 16.1.

A really good follow up to their debut and just as good in places. The only weak tracks are Medication and Wicked Ways, I Think I'm Paranoid , Push It, When I Grow Up & You Look So Fine are the best tracks. The Trick ..... & Temptation Waits are also great/worth a listen.
Few really good songs on this but nothing in comparison to there debut. Bit to much filler. Not bad, but nothing outstanding
"you look so fine" is outstanding timeless tune, but the rest of album are just good/average pop-alt-rock songs
This album is great from start to finish with great music and attitude on questioning yourself, relationships and rebounding from mistakes. Tracks like Paranoid and Push It are adrenaline magic along with the calmer tracks like Trick Is To Keep Breathing. A great ride!
THIS ALBUM IS INCREDIBLE... One of my fav ever!!
I actually prefer this to their debut. I think it's a more consistent record and I like the more polished sound.
Very good alternative rock/pop rock album. Best 10 songs average is 89,7/100 and the album can get very good 90/100. Best song is "When I grow up" 95/100, followed by "Temptation waits", "Special", "The trick is to keep breathing" and "You look so fine" all 90/100. All other songs good 80-85/100, except "Dumb" average 75/100 only. Favourite!
Not as strong as their debut, but still worthwhile. Less sultry and snarly, more brash.
Best tracks: Push It, I Think I'm Paranoid, The Trick Is to Keep Breathing, You Look So Fine.
More poppy, but believe me, nobody cared. A great album.
