sethmadsen 01/09/2013 20:01This album makes me feel more punk rock than any punk rock album. Little Richard was so in your face, but also had soul and quality music. For a 50s album to have so many solid songs... hard to come by. By far one of my favorite albums.
Everything that is good about rock and roll condensed into 12 songs. If rock and roll had never moved past this point...well it never should. And the reason some folks believe today's music has no soul is because we've lost our roots. So here you go. New Orleans boogie-woogie shouters. Great ones. Now go listen to Chuck, Jerry Lee, Roy, Elvis and Fats. Go on...

way underrated, should be in the top 500.
Nobody had as much energy on stage. His star shone brightly even while surrounded by Elvis, Jerry Lee, and Buddy Holly. Frenetic singing and playing. He had a fever.
sethmadsen 04/22/2012 22:53The true king of rock n' roll in my opinion. Little Richard get's in your face as much as one could in the 50's. This album is great. Many good songs, and ok album flow. I still give it 100 because this album for it's time is so pivotal, but still is great music.
lancashirearab 04/12/2012 06:56There are so many songs on this album that have been part of life as I have grown up. They are just in the background to so many things like TV programmes, parent's parties, radio shows, films and even museums.
