Consistently good 90's album. 'Kevin Carter' must be the best track ever to include a trumpet!

I wonder how cathartic this album was for them? It seems they're contrasting between venting and exhaling.

Very nice album. Highlight of the 90's for the Manics. I adore A Design For Life, and the last two songs. Though there are a couple of songs that are a bit samey, such as Enola/Alone, the title track and Interiors. But the good stuff highly outnumbers the fillers. Excellent!

Although was doomed to never gain the cult classic status of The Holy Bible, Everything Must Go is a consistently good album with some extraordinary moments on it. Best tracks - A Design for Life, Everything Must Go & Small Black Flowers that Grow in the Sky

I like everything about this album. Clear vocals, great guitars, friendly hooks and melody, orchestral infusion, upbeat sound. And yet it still manages to stay away from being mainstream.
